*1977, Great Britain Marilène Oliver has always strived to explore alternative and intimate representation of the physical body and she accomplishes that with her unusual employment of medical machines, such as PET and MRI scans, to create aesthetic sculptures. Oliver believes that by making three dimensional portraits using this approach, they give us an opportunity to view the beauty of the inner body.
